Advise students as to what academic support mechanisms are available, both internal and external to the College, including the UCSU Advice Service.- From time to time attend student review meetings as either a member of the panel, or a representative of the student as required.- Alongside the officer and staff team assist in the organisation the Student Representative system.- Alongside the officer and staff team promote a good working relationship with the Student Development and Advisory Service.- Arrange, publicise, administrate and maintain the Academic Affairs Forum at least twice a term. - Be the chair of the Academic Affairs Forum. - Bring forward recommendations from the Academic Affairs Forum to the Site Committee/Students Council/Executive/President as required.- As a Representative Officer act in a responsible and appropriate manner which reflects the work of the Students' Union- Act in accordance with and abide by the UCSU Constitution, rules and all Union policies as set out by the Union Council or Executive, and such other procedures or instructions that may be implemented from time to time by Union Council.- Regularly inform and update the membership, Site Committee, Union Council and Executive of current work, projects and achievements in relation to your role.Attend Union Officer training as and when required.
