As well as ensuring that all Students’ Union activities and materials comply with the Equality & Diversity Policy, they can be asked to support individual students or even groups of students who have encountered equality obstacles in their time at University. They often run awareness campaigns in partnership with the campus Vice President and Welfare Officer.

With the assistance of the Vice President and Welfare Office they are also responsible for organising and running the Equality and Diversity Forum, an open access meeting held twice a term where any and all students can raise E&D issues.
