The satellite sites of Barrow-In-Furness, Whitehaven and Tower Hamlets have no permanent Student Union presence but still covered by the representative nature of the union. Each can elect a Site Representative which sit as full members of the Union Council, and only a student from the respective site can stand or vote for the position realting to their site. They are also covered by a Vice President, with the Lancaster Vice President having responsibility for the Tower Hamlets site, Ambleside covering Barrow-In-Furness and Carlisle covering Whitehaven. As a representative of the Union act in a responsible and appropriate manner that reflects the work of the Students' Union Act in accordance with and abide by the UCSU Constitution, rules and all Union policies as set out by Union Council or the Executive, and such other procedures and instructions that may be implemented from time to time by Union Council Regularly inform and update the membership of current work, projects and achievements in relation to your role Attend Union training and Student Representative training as and when required Work alongside Union staff as and when required bring forward the views and opinions of the students within your site to the Student Council and the Union as a whole.
