University of Cumbria Students' Union Elections 2009/10

The Students' Union is a democratic membership organisation, meaning that our members (the entire student population of the Univerity of Cumbria) elect from amongst themselves leaders who shape how the Union acts and what our priorities are. The elections allow any student to put themselves forward and provides a method through which the wider membership can select who they want to represent them.

The Easter Bye-Election allows all students a final opportunity to stand for and vote on the remaining positions left over after the Main Elections. These vacant positions are shown below and the details on how to stand for them and what they entail are lilnked through the pages to the right. Click on 'Students' Union Roles' to get a full low down on all the Students Union
