Voting Now Open - Click Here to go and vote anytime from 1am Monday 8th March to 5pm 19th March! The Students’ Union has annual elections to allow everyone registered on a course of study at the University Of Cumbria the opportunity to stand and vote in ballots to select the leaders of the Union. These leaders take key roles in representing you as students within the University, have responsibility for the direction and development of the Students’ Union as a ½ million pound a year organisation and drive the operations of the Union to deliver top quality and value for money.
Anyone can participate in the elections, both as a candidate and as a voter. All you need to be is registered to a course (be that full or part time) to qualify, and we’re very intent on encouraging all sections of the student population to get engaged. So much so in fact we’re proposing to change how we work to make it easier for everyone to get involved.
