The Students' Union is a democratic membership organisation, meaning that our members (the entire student population of the Univerity of Cumbria) elect from amongst themselves leaders who shape how the Union acts and what our priorities are. The elections allow any student to put themselves forward and provides a method through which the wider membership can select who they want to represent them.

The Easter Bye-Election allows all students a final opportunity to stand for and vote on the remaining positions left over after the Main Elections.
