Vote Tom Underwood for Community Sabbatical Hello, my name is Tom Underwood and I’m running for the community sabbatical position. I am currently studying Coaching and Sport Development and I have been the course rep for two years. This has enabled me to develop strong communication skills between my fellow students and lecturers. This will help me fulfil the Community Sabbatical role as I will use this communication to enable you as students to use me as a first point of contact with any issues you have concerning access to the students union. I believe that every student must have equality and fairness and no student should feel excluded during their time at university. To prevent this I promise to dedicate my time to you, the students, with any issues you have concerning not only the Students’ Union but any other problems you face. I will then proactively work with you to overcome the issues. I understand that I will be required to divide my time equally between all the campuses. I will dedicate myself fairly and not favour any particular campus. I feel I am an extremely approachable person and I am the most suited for this position.
