In recognition of the fact that the Union requires specialist representation at all sites where there are students registered the roles of Site Representative exist at the Tower Hamlets & London, As these roles are reflective of the needs of the local site-based community they are flexible and can dip in and out of the central campaigning and representative activity of the Given the distributed nature of the sites of the University these positions have to be able to work with remote assistance and supervision, although the Sabbaticals will be expected to hold regular surgeries at all sites and senior staff are always on hand to provide advice and support. As a local organiser excellent communication and motivational skills would be a great asset to a Site Representative.
