The University of Cumbria Students' Union recognises that students with children have a number of individual considerations and concerns that might affect their University experience.
The Students' Union is committed to supporting our Student Parents, as part of this commitment we have recently undertaken a large scale research project about the University experience for student parents at the University of Cumbria.
There are a number of recommendations that have arisen from the Students' Union research so far and these will form the basis of Students' Union campaigning activity to improve the University experience for our student parents.
As part of the research the Students' Union is also keen to collect Student Parent narratives about a 'typical day' in their lives. If you'd like to tell us about your typical day then please get in touch at: suadvice@cumbria.ac.uk
