Saints Bar Manager

The University of Cumbria Students’ Union is seeking a highly motivated, target driven, friendly and reliable person to manage the Saints bar operation on the Lancaster campus of the University of Cumbria. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate commercial awareness, have experience in a similar environment and be able to manage people effectively to deliver against tight budgetary requirements whilst upholding high standards of customer service and legal/best practice compliance. Candidates will need to have excellent communication skills, a good working knowledge of I.T. and a desire to work as part of a membership led organisation.

External Sales and Events Facilitator

The University of Cumbria Students’ Union is seeking a highly motivated, target driven, friendly and reliable person to grow the commercial revenues of the Union by means of student-focussed entertainments and events and promoting the marketing opportunities available trough the Union to external clients. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate commercial awareness, be confident in dealing with a variety of national and local organisations from different sectors as well as community organisations all looking to gain access to the student market. The role requires a skilful communicator who is able to develop and maintain productive profitable relations. Candidates will need to have excellent communication skills, a good working knowledge of I.T. and a desire to work as part of a membership led organisation
