► What is The Students' Union?
We, The Students' Union are a separate and independent organisation from the University and are here to support, represent and provide for our members, who are YOU, the students. When you enrol as a student at the University of Cumbria you automatically become one of our members and also a member of the National Union of Students (NUS). Both of these organisations are based entirely around enhancing the student experience and being a member brings you some great benefits. Please take time to have a look around our site to find out what you as a member can benefit from The Students' Union. We pride ourselves on having a wide variety of staff and volunteer officers geared up to help and provide you with all the information and advice you need. With excellent links in the University, community and country we have the resources to help you with pretty much anything, and if we cant, we will put you in touch with someone who can.
